Background

This project started, when the european authorities decided to release the new regulation concerning the ELT 406 Mhz requirements. Out of a sudden, all general aviation aircrafts have to be equipped with this new technology. But as prices and installation costs are always an issue, we decided to find a solution to keep the prices for everyone down. So we got in touch with several european distributors and suppliers and ask them for a cooperation and a special offer, if we would do a bulk-orders for a higher number of ELTs. Of course the suppliers were greately interested in such a cooperation, as the ELT 406 market is very hot right now.

So we received an offer from KANNAD, which was most suitable to most of the demands of our aircrafts, provided a very high quality ELT unit and was offered at a very attractive price.
